Gosh! I wonder what people would say if Christians were persecuting, killing and driving Muslims out of their countries by the hundreds of thousands.

But the reverse is just a-okay.  You know…because Muslims are so misunderstood, peaceful and culture…or something.

For some reason, my Templar icon is twitching.

But remember, childrens….evil Christians are never persecuted.

Pentagon Threatens To Court Martial Troops Who Share Their Christian Faith…

What the???

From Breitbart:

The Pentagon has released a statement confirming that soldiers could be prosecuted for promoting their faith: “Religious proselytization is not permitted within the Department of Defense…Court martials and non-judicial punishments are decided on a case-by-case basis…”.

The statement, released to Fox News, follows a Breitbart News report on Obama administration Pentagon appointees meeting with anti-Christian extremist Mikey Weinstein to develop court-martial procedures to punish Christians in the military who express or share their faith.

(From our earlier report: Weinstein is the head of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, and says Christians–including chaplains–sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ in the military are guilty of “treason,” and of committing an act of “spiritual rape” as serious a crime as “sexual assault.” He also asserted that Christians sharing their faith in the military are “enemies of the Constitution.”)

Being convicted in a court martial means that a soldier has committed a crime under federal military law. Punishment for a court martial can include imprisonment and being dishonorably discharged from the military.

What kind of crap is this?

I mean, it’s one thing if military members are going door to door in uniform and trying to convert people-that is not a role of the military nor would it be representative of the military as a whole- but ‘sharing’ their faith??  What the hell does that mean?

So can Christian servicemen and women be court martialed for having a prayer meeting? For wearing a crucifix or how about being a military pastor? There is an actual MOS for military pastors so are they going to disband that, shutter the doors of all the churches on base, relieve all pastors serving in a combat zone of duty and court martial them if they continue to provide services?

Also, how the hell can Christians be considered enemies of the Constitution??  They take an oath to protect and defend the Constitution which includes Freedom of Religion!

For Christ’s sake! The First Amendment of the Constitution reads:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Now I understand that many of you may say, “But TS! Congress is not prohibiting religious freedom-the Pentagon is!”

True enough but again, the military has a duty and has sworn an oath to protect and defend the Constitution…which would include religious freedom. While the Pentagon may be able to restrict some forms of freedom of speech. such as making political statements publicly while in uniform, but they cannot classify a Constitutional right as a crime…which they would have to do in order for someone to be court martialed.

And why is it only Christians that are being targeted for these new “Religious Crimes?”

For example, in 2002, a female fighter pilot stationed in Saudi Arabia reported that the Pentagon made it mandatory off-base dress for military women to wear a Muslim head-to-toe garment called an abaya..Isn’t this promoting a religious belief?

In 2010, a Jewish rabbi sued the Army for refusing to allow him to wear a beard, as dictated by his religious beliefs, yet they allowed Sikh and Muslim clerics to grow beards in accord to their religious faiths. Wouldn’t wearing a beard for religious reasons in uniform be ‘promoting and sharing’ a religion?

Another incident involved U.S. commanders in Afghanistan which allowed and, in some instances, encourages United States military women to remove their helmet while on official military missions and don the Muslim hijab and/or wear the hijab as a uniform item under their helmets or around their necks.Wouldn’t this be promoting and supporting a particular religion as well?

Then in 2011, CAIR (of course) wrote a letter to the Department of Defense demanding that the Army allow Muslim and Sikh students participating in Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (JROTC) be allowed wear headscarves and turbans while in uniform. In response, Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army Larry Stubblefield wrote:

“Based on your concerns, the Army has reviewed its JROTC uniform policy and will develop appropriate procedures to provide Cadets the opportunity to request the wear of religious head dress, such as the turban and hijab,” Stubblefield wrote in the letter, made public by CAIR.

Yet it is only Christians who are being labeled ‘spiritual rapists’, “Enemies of the Constitution” and are guilty of treason and having their religious freedom threatened.
This is not only ridiculous but it’s shameful and disgusting.
If you had any doubt that the Constitution was under attack, consider this your wake up call.

Many Egyptian viewers were horrified when preacher Hisham el-Ashry recently popped up on primetime television to say women must cover up for their own protection and advocated the introduction of religious police.

“I was once asked: If I came to power, would I let Christian women remain unveiled? And I said: If they want to get raped on the streets, then they can,” Ashry told Nahar TV last week.

Introducing a Saudi-style anti-vice police force to enforce Islamic law was “not a bad thing”, he said, and added: “In order for Egypt to become fully Islamic, alcohol must be banned and all women must be covered.”

Welcome to New Egypt. That Obama backed Arab Spring has done wonders for freedom and democracy over there.

In a legal argument formally presented in federal court in the case of Hobby Lobby v. Kathleen Sebelius, the Obama administration is claiming that the First Amendment—which expressly denies the government the authority to prohibit the “free exercise” of religion—nonetheless allows it to force Christians to directly violate their religious beliefs even on a matter that involves the life and death of innocent human beings.

Because federal judges—including Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor—have refused to grant an injunction protecting the owners of Hobby Lobby from being forced to act against their Christian faith, those owners will be subject to federal fines of up to $1.3 million per day starting Tuesday for refusing to include abortion-inducing drugs in their employee health plan.

The Obama administration is making a two-fold argument for why it can force Christians to act against their faith in complying with the regulation it has issued under the Obamacare law that requires virtually all health care plans to cover, without co-pay, sterilizations, contraceptives, and abortion-inducing drugs.

The first argument the administration makes against the owners of Hobby Lobby is that Americans lose their First Amendment right to freely exercise their religion when they form a corporation and engage in commerce. A person’s Christianity, the administration argues, cannot be carried out through activities he engages in through an incorporated business.

And that where it starts.  Just start with one little chip.  If no one makes too big of a stink-chip away somewhere else…then somewhere else….then here…then there.

Before you know it, the Ministry of Thought is established and the Thought Police will tell you how and what you can believe in…you know…for the common good.

Keep it up, losers.  You’ll have no one to blame but yourselves.

In an interview last December 13 on Egyptian television Al Baghdadia, the Shiite ayatollah Ahmad Al Hassani Al Baghdadi issued a fatwa against Christians in Iraq. Labeling them as “polytheists” and “friends of the Zionists”, the extremist leader stressed that they must choose “Islam or death,” while “their women and girls may legitimately be regarded wives of Muslims.” Al Baghdadi is known for his “jihad” positions and for attacking Americans in the past during their presence in the country, and today he lives in Syria, supporting the armed opposition.

Well, isn’t that special? Hey look! A unicorn!!

Islamic Mob Demand Death Of Young Girl Accused Of “Blasphemy”…

How tolerant of them. But it’s cultural so I guess I can ignore it.

From WND:

A violent mob spent hours blocking a main highway into the Pakistani capital, Islamabad, demanding the death penalty for a mentally disabled child, according to a Pakistani human rights activist.

Shalom Bashara told WND the child, Rimsha Masih, was accused of burning and destroying pages of Arabic-language religious material. There have been conflicting reports of her age. Some media have said she’s 11, others 14, and a police official said she is 16.

She’s now in jail in Rawalpindi after her arrest Aug. 16.

Masih is accused of blasphemy because, Barnabas Aid reports, a neighbor claims he saw the girl burn the pages, put them in a bag and take them to the trash.

Barnabas Aid said the pages apparently were from the “Noorani Qaida,” a booklet used to learn the basics of the Quran.

That put the Muslims in a violent rage.

“The mob encompassed the Christians’ houses and demanded a ‘blasphemer’ to be hanged. The angry mob abused Rimsha and her parents and the Christians of the locality,” Basharat said.

“They blocked the main Kashmir Highway for hours and chanted slogans against Rimsha and the Christians. The mob demanded the death penalty for the blasphemer and was planning to attack the Christians’ houses; however the situation was controlled by the police,” Basharat said.

Police were called to the scene, and Rimsha and her mother were arrested and taken to the police station. The young girl has been charged with blasphemy under Section 295-B of the Pakistani penal code.

Masih has spent five nights in jail, reports said.

Said one, “The alleged incident was broadcast over the loudspeakers of the mosques in the area, stirring up local Muslims; they chanted slogans against Rimsha and severely beat the girl, members of her family and other local Christians. The mob also torched the homes of two Christian families in the area.”

Polly Truscott of Amnesty international said this is the type of treatment religious minorities can face in nations that suspend the rule of law.

Oddly, I haven’t heard a thing from any feminists or the usual people who scream about religious tolerance when people criticize Islam. Guess tolerance doesn’t matter when it has to do with an evil, underage, mentally handicapped Christian.

11 Year-Old Christian Boy Brutally Tortured And Killed In Pakistan, Reports He Was Accused Of “Blasphemy”….

But remember, kids, it’s a cultural thing so no talking bad.

From The Telegraph:

The tortured body of an 11 year old Christian boy has been found in a town in Punjab, Pakistan, days after a young Christian girl was arrested on blasphemy charges.

Detectives in Faisalabad, around 60 miles from Lahore, said they were investigating whether accusations of blasphemy had also been made against the boy.

Human rights campaigners condemned the killing of Samuel Yaqoob whose burned and tortured body body was discovered on Eid, the celebration which marks the end of the Islamic fasting month of Ramadan.

His lips and nose had been sliced off, his stomach removed and there was evidence that his legs had been mutilated too.

I’ll be waiting for the insults and excuses, apologists.

Arab Spring Freedom and Justice: Egyptian Jihadist Groups Call For Genocide Of Christians…

The religion of peace and tolerance strikes again.

From Raymond Ibrahim:

According to today’s issue of El Fegr, “Elements of terrorist, jihadi organizations distributed leaflets today inciting for the killing of Copts in Suez, Ismailia, and Upper Egypt, promising them [Copts] a tragic end if they do not return to the truth.”

An image of a copy of the letter appears on El Fegr’s website. Titled “An Urgent and Important Notice,” it begins by calling on “all brothers and sisters” to “kill or physically attack the enemies of the religion of Allah—the Christians in all of Egypt’s provinces, the slaves of the Cross, Allah’s curse upon them…” It proceeds to promise a monetary reward for whoever helps “achieve Allah’s rights against his enemies.”

As a testimony to how safe the jihadi organizations of today’s Egypt feel under the new president, the Muslim Brotherhood’s Muhammad Morsi, the usual cryptic language is dropped, as the letter names contact points and even a mosque, Sheikh Ahmed Mosque in Kasfrit, where those interested should rally “after Friday prayers where new members to the organization will be welcomed.”

Egypt: Muslim Brotherhood Cleric Roams Streets Urging Muslims To Kill Town’s Christians, Burn Down Their Church…

Nothing but good news out of Egypt these days.

From AINA:

The sectarian strife between Muslims and Christians which took place last week in the village of Dahshur has prompted over 120 Christian families to flee their homes today after news that a Muslim man who had suffered 3rd degree burns in the incident died this morning in a Cairo hospital. Before his death, the father and brother of Moaz Hassab-Allah told the media yesterday that should he die, “the whole village will avenge his death.”

Coptic villagers were terrorized today after a Muslim Brotherhood cleric roamed the village vowing that the village church of St. George will be burned down, its pastor and all the entire Christian inhabitants killed and their homes torched after the burial of Moaz tonight, reportd Coptic activist Maariam Ragy.

The Muslim Brotherhood?  Like the same Muslim Brotherhood the Obama administration has identified as a ‘secular’ organization?  The same Muslim Brotherhood that has been invited to the White House numerous times?

Can’t be. Even Obama can’t be that stupid.

A mob of about 300 men vandalized a store that was being used for a church service by dozens of Bethel Christians in Aceh on Sunday.

There were no casualties reported in the attack.

The mob wrecked the first floor of the store located in the Pasar Peunayong village of the Kuta Alam subdistrict in Banda Aceh. The assailants broke windows and did damage to some furniture.

Around 60 local Bethel Christians were holding their Sunday service on the third floor when the mob attacked.

The police’s quick response prevented the attackers from reaching the people on the third floor.

Banda Aceh Police chief Muffan Mudji Kafanti claimed that the attackers ransacked the place because the church members had not obtained permission to hold Mass in the store.

“There are regulations if you want to make it a place of worship,” Muffan said. “Local residents couldn’t accept it and wrecked it.”

An offshoot of Egypt’s top religious institution, Al Azhar, has called on the government to take a Christian television station off the air, allegedly for offending Muslims, the semi-official Al-Ahram newspaper reported Thursday.

The Islamic Research Centre, which made the demand, is headed by Ahmed al-Tayeb, the sheikh of Al Azhar, which is the Sunni Muslim world’s oldest seat of religious learning.

The centre accused US-based Christian broadcaster Al Karma (Vineyard) of insulting Islam and inciting sectarian divisions in Egypt, at a meeting late Wednesday, the newspaper reported.

Al Karama transmits its programmes via the Egyptian state-run satellite NileSat.

Christians, who make up around 10% of Egypt’s population, often complain of being treated as second-class citizens and feel marginalised by the predominately Muslim population.

Egypt’s Christians recently criticized state television for being biased in reporting about clashes between mainly Christian protesters and army forces in October, when at least 26 people were killed.

I thought the Arab Spring was all about allowing the people to have freedom and the right to be heard…..what?….ooooh! It doesn’t apply to Arabic Christians!  Gotcha!

A group of hard-line Muslims attacked a church building in Upper Egypt this afternoon, torching the structure and then looting and burning nearby Christian-owned homes and businesses.

The 3,000-strong mob of hard-line and Salafi Muslims gutted the Mar Gerges Church in the Elmarenab village of Aswan, then demolished much of its remains, multiple witnesses at the scene said. The mob also razed four homes near the church and two businesses, all Christian-owned. Looting was also reported.

Michael Ramzy, a villager in Elmarenab, said the attack started shortly after Muslims held their afternoon prayers.

“Imams in more than 20 mosques called for crowds to gather and destroy the church and demolish the houses of the Copts and loot their properties,” Ramzy told local media.

The Mar Gerges burning is the third church in Egypt in seven months to be burned down by a mob. Additionally, numerous other churches have been looted or otherwise attacked this year, including a New Year’s Eve bombing at the Two Saints Church in Alexandria that left 23 dead and scores critically wounded.

More sunshine and roses from the Arab Spring.

An Iranian pastor who refuses to renounce his Christian faith could be hanged as soon as Wednesday, after a trial court ruling this week upheld his death sentence for “apostasy.”

Religious freedom advocates are calling urgently for governments to take up the case of Youcef Nadarkhani, a 32-year-old evangelical first sentenced to death late last year. If the sentence is carried out he will be the first Iranian Christian known to have been executed for his faith in 21 years.

Nadarkhani embraced Christianity at the age of 19, and since his Supreme Court appeal last June, proceedings focused on the question of whether he was a practicing Muslim at the time.

According to Christian Solidarity Worldwide (CSW), although a court subsequently determined that he was not a practicing Muslim adult when he became a Christian “the court has decided that he remains guilty of apostasy because he has Muslim ancestry.”

Back in court on Sunday and Monday this week, Nadarkhani faced renewed pressure to disavow his faith, on pain on death. CSW cited sources close the case as saying two more sessions have been scheduled, for Tuesday and Wednesday — and “if he continues to refuse, he will be executed thereafter.”

It may have been a mere misplaced dot that led to accusations of blasphemy against a Christian eighth-grader, whose miniscule error led to her expulsion from school and uproar amongst local religious leaders.

Faryal Bhatti, a student at the Sir Syed Girls High School in Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF) colony Havelian, erroneously misspelt a word in an Urdu exam while answering a question on a poem written in praise of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). The word in question was ‘laanat’ instead of ‘naat’ – an easy error for a child to make, as the written versions of the words are similar.

According to the school administration and religious leaders who took great exception to the hapless student’s mistake, the error is ‘serious’ enough to fall within the realm of blasphemy, Saturday.

On Thursday, Faryal’s Urdu teacher was collecting the answer sheets from her students when she noticed the apparently offensive word on her pupil’s sheet. The teacher, Fareeda Bibi, reportedly summoned the Christian girl, scolded her and beat her. Her punishment, however, did not end here. When Faryal’s class fellows learnt of the alleged blasphemy, the teacher brought the principal’s notice to the matter, who further informed the school management.

In the meanwhile, the news spread throughout the colony. The next day, male students of the POF colony school as well as certain religious elements took out a rally, demanding the registration of a criminal case against the eighth-grader and her expulsion from the area.

Prayer leaders within the community also condemned the incident in their Friday sermons, asking the colony’s administration to not only take action against Faryal but her entire family. In the wake of the increasing tensions, Managing Director POF Colony Havelian Asif Siddiki called a meeting of colony-based ulemas and school teachers to discuss the situation. The girl and her mother were asked to appear before the meeting, where they explained that it was a mere error, caused by a resemblance between the two words. The two immediately apologised, adding that Faryal had no malicious intentions.
