Classy Democrat is Classy….Or In layman’s Terms: He’s A Tool….

Former Democratic National Committee chairman Terry McAuliffe has entered the 2013 Virginia governor’s race and marked his campaign by running a loving ad showing how important family is.

Truly inspiring.

Well, except that this guy is actually a self-centered tool who puts his family behind his love of parties and fundraisers.

In his 2007 book What A Party, McAuliffe wrote about one instance he left his pregnant wife at the hospital to attend a party for Washington Post reporter Lloyd Grove during the birth of his daughter Sarah:

"We got there a little after noon and spent the whole afternoon in her room. I was trying hard not to appear restless, but I am not one to sit still for long and soon I was going stir-crazy, which drove Dorothy nuts.

'Isn't there something you need to do?' she finally said.

I told her The Washington Post was having a party that evening for Lloyd Grove, who wrote the ‘Reliable Source’ column. ‘Go!’ she said. ‘You’re like a caged animal here. I’ll call you if I need you.’

I went flying out the door and drove to the party. I kept calling Dorothy to make sure she was fine. I made the rounds at the party and ran into Marjorie Williams, who was writing a story on me for Vanity Fair, magazine. She was shocked to see me at the party. ‘Isn’t Dorothy having a baby today?’ she asked.

'That's right,' I said, 'but she threw me out the room.'

Marjorie just couldn’t understand how I left Dorothy alone.

Such a supportive husband. I can imagine the smiles that will bring to his childrens’ face when he enthralls them with tails of how he partied all night while their mother was in labor.

Truly charming.

But…wait!   That’s not all.

In another section of his book, McAuliffe writes about stopping to go to a fundraiser on the way home from the hospital with his wife, an aide who was driving his car, and a newborn baby Peter:

Dorothy was starting to well up in the backseat. She was having trouble understanding how I could be taking my wife and newborn baby to a fund-raiser on our way home from the hospital.

We got to the dinner and by then Dorothy was in tears, and I left her with Justin and went inside. Little Peter was sleeping peacefully and Dorothy just sat there and poor Justin didn’t say a word. He was mortified.

I was inside maybe fifteen minutes, said a few nice things about Marty, and hurried back out to the car. I felt bad for Dorothy, but it was a million bucks for the Democratic Party…

Nothing says “Family Man” like leaving your wife, who is recovering from child birth, in the backseat of your car, along with your fresh newborn baby, while you go inside and pimp for money for the Democrats.

Yeah…those Democrats really love their women!

Sequester? That Only Applies To The Little People….

Today President Obama  travels to Colorado to “meet with law enforcement and community leaders to discuss the gun control package signed into law by Gov. John Hickenlooper.”

That’s a three hour flight, right?

At  $179,750 per hour, that comes out to $1,078,500 in costs for Air Force One for the trip. Yes, you are paying for that.

That’s just about the cost of public tours of the White House for one year.

[Republicans] have spent a lot of time creating a fictional Barack Obama who is supposedly taking the work out of welfare reform, or doesn’t think small businesses built their own businesses.

Barack Obama

_______________________________

Fictional? So you didn’t change the welfare requirement where welfare recipients need to look for a job? According to the NY Post:

..last month the Department of Health and Human Services issued an “Information Memorandum” inviting states to apply for waivers from some of the work requirements…

[…]the memorandum includes troubling changes that would effectively water down the requirement that welfare recipients work, actively search for work or seriously train for work.

Sure sounds like you’re taking the work out of welfare to me.

And next? You think it’s a lie that you said that you don’t think small businesses built their own businesses?  Really?  Do I even need to point that one out?  Didn’t think so.

And, yes, he really does think you’re that stupid.

Libs Already Looking To “Impeach Romney”…

I’d like to say this is surprising but considering we’re talking about progressive leftists…yeah…not so much.

From Red Alert Politics:

Could it be a sign that some liberals are fearful that Barack Obama might lose in November?

An “Impeach Romney” Facebook page along with a separate ImpeachMittRomney.com blog and an ImpeachRomneystore.com site selling “Impeach Romney” wares have emerged to pre-emptively call for Romney’s impeachment.

So far the “Impeach Romney” Facebook page has 73 likes, and its originator writes: “So he has not been elected and may not be but this is what we call preemptive strike. Impeach Romney!!!”

The page features a series of anti-Romney texts and joke photos, such as one of the GOP nominee in a painting in drag.

So we have a guy who is only running for President and already has an “Impeach Him” campaign going on against him but yet we have a sitting President who intentionally withholds subpoenaed documentation from Congress, allowed or ignored the fact that his Justice Department allowed weapons to flow into a foreign country and resulted in the deaths of hundreds of civilians and at least one, possibly two US law enforcement officers, has intentionally diminished our energy independence, has communists, marxist and their supporters in the White House, has invited known terrorists into the White House, allows people and organization associated with terrorist groups to draft or help in drafting US policy, is negotiating with terrorists and a myriad of other questionable if not outright illegal activities….but not a peep from the left.

Yeah, you guys are real bright.

Obama Campaign Blatantly Plants Question In Reddit Interview…

Obama and planted questions. What a non-shocker.

From Reddit:

  • Profile created mere minutes after the AMA was announced, and literally six seconds before asking a well written, paragraph long question (approximate typing speed assuming it was typed after creating the account? 1570 wpm)
  • Created a profile 5 minutes 39 seconds after the AMA going live, when servers were having a fit.
  • Asked question explicitly requesting ways to recruit the youth that Obama relied on last election (many of whom are disillusioned with him, for all the reasons she presents herself as being subject to)
  • Is literally only 1 of 10 questions answered.
  • asked by one hmlee who (according to some internet detective work):
    • has only one comment in her history, total
    • Posted a blog entry supporting Obama
    • lists herself as working/having worked as an intern at the Department of Justice

So, is it possible that she heard about it on her own, created an account, and typed up an eloquent question that is a PR man’s wet dream all within less than 6 minutes? Yes, it’s possible. It’s just not particularly likely.

This guy is the worst at smoke and mirrors even though that’s what his entire Presidency is grounded in.

CNN’s Anderson Cooper Rips Wasserman Schultz To Shreds For Misquoting Article In DNC Fundraising Email…

It doesn’t matter that we misquoted and lied. What we want our followers to know, whether it’s true or not, is all that matters.

I just love the honesty and integrity leaking out of the Democrats these days.

Obama Campaign Also Sticks Connecticut With $15K Bill While He Rakes In Cash…

What a Scrooge!

From CBS 2 New York:

Westport Will Not Be Reimbursed For Costs Related to Obama Visit

The town of Westport will not be reimbursed for $14,812 worth of costs related to President Barack Obama’s fundraising visit earlier this month, according to Westport First Selectman Gordon Joseloff.

What is this? Isn’t this like the fifth or tenth time Obama has stiffed a city with the bill of his fundraising event?

Guess spreading the wealth around doesn’t apply when it comes to B-Rock and him paying his own bills.

Obama Convention Closes Cancer Treatment Center…..

I always wondered what irony tasted like.

From The Washington Free Beacon:

While Democrats prepare to descend on Charlotte for their party’s convention, local cancer patients are preparing contingency plans to receive critical medical treatments. Local Charlotte news station WBTV reports the Democratic convention will force a major cancer treatment center to close.

On Tuesday, September 4th, the DNC will officially kick off. Tens of thousands from around the world will head to the Queen City and there’s no secret, the convention will have a major impact locally, including on people battling cancer.

Matthews resident Sue Falco is fighting stage four colon cancer, and says the DNC will force a major cancer treatment center to close. Carolina’s Hematology Oncology Associates on South Tryon will close for four days during the DNC, because of security and traffic concerns.

Just a few weeks ago, the pro-Obama super PAC Priorities USA launched a controversial ad that linked Republican nominee Mitt Romney to the death of a woman from cancer. The ad, which was widely denounced by Democrats and Republicans alike, now appears ironic since Obama’s convention will displace cancer patients.

But, hey, as long as the Good King can read his Valerie Jarrett approved speech, who cares if a few cancer patients have to travel further than necessary, or go without, their cancer treatment.  Making sure the Messiah gets another term is way more important.

Biden’s ‘good friend’ and Obama donor receives $20M federal loan to open foreign luxury car dealership in Ukraine…

See!  The Obama administration is creating jobs!  True…they’re in other countries but don’t let the little details get in the way.

From The Daily Caller:

In late July, John Hynansky — a longtime friend of Vice President Joe Biden, and a major donor to Biden’s campaigns as well as President Barack Obama’s — was awarded a $20 million taxpayer loan to build a foreign-car dealership in Ukraine.

According to a public summary document, the loan, from the federal government’s Overseas Private Investment Corporation, is for “[u]p to $20.0 million,” and is designed to “expand Winner Import Ukraine’s automobile business, [and] construct and operate ‘Winner Autocity,’ which will have two new, state-of-the-art dealership facilities for Porsche and Land Rover/Jaguar automobiles.”

Porsche is a German-made luxury and sports car, and Jaguar Land Rover is a British luxury and sports car company owned by an Indian subsidiary.

So that’s how it’s done.  If your friends with the Vice President, and donate to the Obama campaign, you’re rewarded with millions in US taxpayer dollars to start a luxury car business in a different country.

Good to see cronyism and scratch-my-back-I’ll-scratch-yours politics are alive and well.

Former Obama campaign co-chair to stump for Romney…

A former four-term Democratic congressman from Alabama and one time strong supporter of President Barack Obama will campaign for Mitt Romney Wednesday.

A Romney campaign aide confirms to CNN that Artur Davis will stump for the presumptive Republican presidential nominee in the battleground state of Virginia.

Obama: Security Costs? That’s What Taxpayers Are For…

Since Obama’s election campaign got away with screwing a diner out of the Father’s Day dinner bill then had an anonymous donor cover Obama’s $20,000 security bill, after his people refused to pay it, in Durham, New Hampshire, Team Obama is just giving the big ‘F-You’ finger to everybody now.

According to the Boston Herald:

Outraged taxpayer advocates slammed President Obama for lavishly politicking on the taxpayers’ dime last night, as Boston ran up a hefty tab providing security so the Democratic incumbent could breeze in and out of town for a series of re-election events.

“It’s an atrocious waste of taxpayer money,” said David Tuerck, a government ethics watchdog with Suffolk University. “There is no taxpayer interest in any of this. It’s all about getting him re-elected, and the campaign should pay for everything.”

City Hall refused to provide a cost estimate, but one city official predicted it could run between $150,000 to $200,000 to provide security for Obama, in town on a $3.1 million fundraising tear. The Boston Police Department had hordes of officers outside Hamersley’s Bistro in the South End and at Symphony Hall. Boston police will also likely provide security as Obama stays the night and leaves this morning.

“Given that many municipalities are facing budget crunches of their own, squeezing them even further for political events can grate on a lot of residents’ nerves,” said Pete Sepp, vice president of the conservative-leaning National Taxpayers Union. He argued that presidents from both political parties should pick up their campaign tabs.

But, hey, it’s not his money. Besides, the common folk have been paying for his vacations and parties for almost four years-why stop now?

Obama Campaign Uses The Two Non-White Interns At Chicago HQ In New Video To Try And Mask Overwhelmingly White Staff…

Barack Obama’s Chicago campaign has released a new video that showcases the arrival of a few non-white interns at its overwhelmingly white-staffed campaign office.

The video comes after the campaign released a damaging April photograph that showed just two non-white staff in a sea of nearly 100 Caucasian staffers, despite Obama’s reliance on African-American voters to bolster his Democratic base.

The April photograph prompted not-for-attribution complaints from some of Obama’s African-American supporters, who decried the gap between the campaign’s quiet hiring of a white campaign staff and Obama’s declared advocacy for African-Americans.

The photo also highlighted the gap between Obama’s personal policies and his well-publicized enforcement of controversial race-conscious hiring rules covering corporations and non-profit organizations.

The new video, “Being an intern at Obama for American — Apply Today,” focuses on a few non-white interns, ignoring the vast majority of the whites who are seen in “wide” shots, staffing the office.

________________________________________

I wonder how those minority interns feel being treated as the office tokens and being hauled out to tap dance for the master’s election campaign.

GOP Rep. Joe Walsh: MSM Protects Obama Because He’s Liberal, Black…

Rep. Joe Walsh (R-Ill.) said the media protect President Obama and will work to get him reelected because he is black.

“This guy pushed every one of the media’s buttons,” Walsh said in an interview with the Media Research Center. “He was liberal, he was different, he was new, he was black. Oh my God, it was the potpourri of everything.”

Walsh was responding to a question from Media Research Center President Brent Bozell about the “race warfare games” of the Obama administration.

“They are so vested in our first black president not being a failure that it’s going to be amazing to watch the lengths they go to to protect him,” Walsh said. “They, I believe, will spout this racist line if some of their colleagues up here aren’t doing it aggressively enough. There is going to be a real desperation.”
