Obama Puppet Susan Rice Thwarted Attempts to Capture Bin Laden – Was Bystander to Rwandan Genocide

Obama must love incompetence since it masks his own failings.

From CNN:

President-Elect Barack Obama has picked Dr. Susan Rice to be the new United Nations Ambassador. Rice served as Bill Clinton’s Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs and later worked as foreign policy advisor to John Kerry and John Edwards during their 2004 presidential campaign. Terrorism experts blame Rice for having played a key role in blocking efforts to neutralize Osama bin Laden in the 1990s.

According to Mansoor Ijaz, a former trouble shooter for Clinton, the FBI had their efforts to capture bin Laden “overruled every single time by the State Department, by Susan Rice and her cronies, who were hell-bent on destroying the Sudan.” In a Washington Post Op-Ed published in 2002, Mansoor Ijaz and Tim Carney, U.S. Ambassador to Sudan blamed Susan Rice for being a major obstacle to accepting offers of help from Sudan and to share their intelligence on bin Laden’s terror network.

Rice was also influential in the Clinton Administration’s remaining uninvolved in the Rwandan genocide that took place in that nation in 1994. The Atlantic (September 2001) published an article by Samantha Power titled: “Bystanders to Genocide,” and outlined Rice’s role in the do-nothing policy of the Clinton Administration.

So Barry, in all his wisdom, wants a woman responsible for allowing bin Laden to escape (and later kill thousands of Americans) and ignoring mass genocide, to be our next Secretary of State.

Considering his history of making crappy decisions-this makes perfect sense.

Of course, anyone pointing this out will be called a women-hating racist.

Following are excerpts from a show featuring Egyptian Salafi Sheikh Murgan Salem, which aired on Dream 2 TV, on November 10 and 13, 2012:

Murgan Salem: They must pay the jizya poll tax. They cannot be exempted.

TV host Wael Al-Abrashi: You mean the Christians…?

Murgan Salem: I’ll tell you, just bear with me. Yes, this should be one of the sources of income of the state. The Jews, Christians, and Zoroastrians are welcome to live in the Abode of Islam, as long as they pay the jizya poll tax, and abide by the terms set by the Emir of the Believers, who rules the country.

Wael Al-Abrashi: What if they serve in the military?

Murgan Salem: They don’t need to. We will defend them. We will defend them.

Wael Al-Abrashi: You met Osama Bin Laden in [Afghanistan]. You worked with him and fought with him.

Murgan Salem: First of all, I won’t allow anyone to say “Osama Bin Laden” without the title “Sheikh”.

Wael Al-Abrashi: Fine, Sheikh Osama Bin Laden. That’s your call.

Murgan Salem: Sheikh Bin Laden is one of the greatest leaders of the Muslims to this day. I consider Sheikh Osama Bin Laden to be greater than Saladin. Saladin had supporters in his day…

The Arab Spring has just done wonders for democracy and freedom in the Middle East and aren’t we lucky that Obama fully backed these peaceful and loving people.

Book: Obama “Feared Taking Responsibility” For Bin Laden Raid In Case Things Went Wrong, Deferred To Valerie Jarrett…

Shocker.  Like I haven’t been saying this for years.

From Daily Mail:

The killing of bin Laden is at the centre of Obama’s re-election campaign and is likely to be highlighted yet again by his aides on the eleventh anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks next month. Obama has already come under fire from former SEALs for trumpeting his role in the raid.

The explosive allegation is contained in an expose by journalist Rich Miniter, who argues that the White House’s carefully-crafted narrative of Obama as a decisive leader who dispatched the al-Qaeda leader despite the doubts of advisers is a myth.

Leading from Behind: The Reluctant President and the Advisors Who Decide for Him will be published on Tuesday. Excerpts have been viewed by Mail Online. […]

Miniter portrays Clinton as the main force behind killing bin Laden and contends that the prevaricating Obama has been in thrall to a number of dominant women – Clinton, top adviser Valerie Jarrett and his wife Michelle.

It was Jarrett, a long-time Chicago ally, he reports, who urged Obama to cancel the first three operations to kill bin Laden.

At the start of his presidency, Miniter writes, Obama was ‘studiously undecided’ about whether to kill the mastermind of 9/11.

‘He refused to weigh in or commit himself on even small matters related to a possible strike on bin Laden.’

He continues: ‘Obama was often disengaged as the bin Laden operation took shape; he left critical decisions to the then-CIA Director Leon Panetta, then-Secretary of Defence Robert Gates and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

‘Obama feared taking responsibility for a risky raid that might go tragically wrong.’

This shouldn’t surprise anyone.  Obama himself has said that he runs every decision he makes by Valerie Jarrett before he makes a choice.  She’s been Obama’s handler since his early days and continues to make him dance today.

But here’s my question: Why did Valerie Jarrett have Obama decline raiding bin Laden’s compound three times when they knew where he was?  What was there to gain for allowing our country’s number one enemy at the time to continue to live?

Would anyone who truly has the best interest of our country have allowed the man responsible for the deaths of over 3,000 citizens to just go about his life and take the chance that he moves and disappears once again?

New documents obtained by a watchdog group show our commander in chief gave the name of a Navy Seal Team 6 commander to the makers of a movie about Osama bin Laden. Valerie Plame, call your office.

Those documents, recently obtained by Judicial Watch, reveal that the Obama administration not only spiked the football and did an end-zone dance after the Navy SEALs dispatched bin Laden from his Club Pakistan abode, but was also willing to expose to the other side our playbook and the name of a SEAL commander.

“These documents, which took nine months and a federal lawsuit to disgorge from the Obama administration, show that politically connected filmmakers were given extraordinary and secret access to bin Laden raid information, including the identity of a SEAL Team 6 leader,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton.

“It is both ironic and hypocritical,” Fitton noted, “that the Obama administration stonewalled Judicial Watch’s pursuit of the bin Laden death photos, citing national security concerns, yet seemed willing to share intimate details regarding the raid to help Hollywood filmmakers release a movie ‘perfectly timed to give a home-stretch boost’ (as described by New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd) to the Obama campaign.”

The Audacity of Obama….

“You can go back 500 years. You cannot find a more audacious plan. Never knowing for certain.” Vice President Biden said during a fundraiser in Morris Township, N.J. Of course, he was referring to Obama deciding to give the Navy SEALs the green light to attack Bin Laden’s Pakistani compound.

Now I’ll give Obama credit-he did give the order to go in and it did only take him 16 hours to make that decision, which should have been remarkably obvious to anyone with a lingering memory of 9/11, but the ‘most audacious plan’ in 500 years?

Really?

What about George Washington’s crossing of the Delaware during the Revolutionary War.  It was the middle of winter, his troops were worn out, fatigued, freezing to death and were facing a vastly larger Hessian and, later, British Army.

With only 2,400 men able to fight, Washington made plans and convinced his men to attack Hessian troops that far outnumbered his own then defend against a 5,000 strong British counter attack.

But naw…that wasn’t audacious at all.

Barbary Coast Wars?  For those that are unaware, this was where Muslim pirates from Algiers, Tunis, Morocco, and Tripoli (the Barbary Coast) attacked American Merchant ships to extort ransom for the lives of captured sailors, and ultimately tribute from the United States to avoid further attacks.

New President Thomas Jefferson, showing what Biden would call run-of-the-mill statesmanship, refused to bow to the pirates’ demands and sent the Navy and Marines to protect the shipping lanes.  That prompted the Barbary States to declare war on the United States.

In April 1805,  Ex-consul William Eaton, who went by the rank of general, and US Marine First Lieutenant Presley O’Bannon led a mixed force of eight United States Marines and 500 Greeks from the island of Crete, Arab, and Berber mercenaries on a march across the desert from Alexandria, Egypt to assault and to capture the Tripolitan city of Derna. This was the first time in history that the United States flag was raised in victory on foreign soil. This action was memorialized in a line from the Marines’ Hymn—”the shores of Tripoli.”

But audacious?  Not according to Joe Biden.

How about the D-Day invasion which led to the fall of Nazi Germany?  Nope.

The Marines storming the Pacific leading to the Invasion of Okinawa and Iwo Jima and the iconic raising of the flag on Mount Suribachi?

Just a walk in the park, apparently.

The Battle of the Chosin Resevoir during the Korean War?  Nothing audacious about that.

I mean, it’s not like 30,000 United Nations troops were encircled by approximately 67,000 Chinese troops or anything and would have been slaughtered if not for the yawn-worthy efforts of the US Army and Marine Corps.  I mean only Fourteen Marines, two Soldiers and one Navy pilot received the Medal of Honor and in what US historians called the “greatest evacuation movement by sea in US military history”,  a 193-ship armada assembled at the port and evacuated not only the UN troops, but also their heavy equipment and the Korean refugees.

But audacious? Please…give me a break.

So, remember, thank God we have a strong leader in the White House-a man who can make a decision in 16 hours or more then sit in a cushy leather chair while other’s do the work that he is unable to do himself….but still takes credit for.

Now THAT is audacity.

Obama: Don’t Forget—I Killed Bin Laden….

As I’m sure you all know, Obama had a glowing, lip puckering, booty kissing “documentary” made about him from a non-biased director who could ‘find no wrong’ with the President.

A couple reviews on the commercial (and let’s face it-that’s what it is) have noted that a large portion on the 17 minute B-Rock-o-love-fest centers on Obama ‘killing’ Bin Laden with nary a mention of the Navy SEALS or the years of work that went in to tracking, locating then confirming Bin Laden’s location.

Look, I’ll give Obama credit for being President when the plan came together and that, due to his superior leadership and decision making abilities, it only took him a mere 16 hours to give the green light to have Bin Laden killed.  Fine, he was President so…thumbs up for that.

But enough with the ‘I killed Bin Laden’ crap.  You  didn’t kill anyone and you weren’t even around when the majority of the work and decisions were made.

Obama taking credit for killing Bin Laden is like me taking credit for taking my kids to Disneyland even though my wife paid for the trip, made all the plans for how to get there and drove the entire way there except for the last block when I took over driving.

But, hey, I was in the driver seat when we arrived there so I get the credit for the entire trip.  Yeaah!

Why The Left Cried When Osama Died…or a hard pill for the apologists to swallow

The death of Osama bin Laden has driven a stake into the heart of the Left, causing progressives to bleed and moan as their unholy alliance with radical Islam absorbs the devastating May 2 blow.

The radical Islamic half of the romance is in agony as it sheds bitter tears for the mass murderer. Indeed, Hamas, Hezbollah, the armed wing of Fatah, and tens of thousands of radical Muslims around the world have prominently displayed their sorrow and anger for the world to see.

The alliance’s leftist half is, meanwhile, also deeply grieving. The guru of the leftist political faith, Noam Chomsky, is responsibly leading the way. Having distinguished himself, among other intriguing ways, as a Jew who has traveled to Lebanon to embrace personally the leaders of Hezbollah, whose stated top priority is to rid the world of Jews, the M.I.T. professor emeritus has not disappointed the faithful, progressive flock. Furiously responding to the assassination of the Left’s idol, Chomsky fumed in his recent article: “We might ask ourselves how we would be reacting if Iraqi commandos landed at George W. Bush’s compound, assassinated him, and dumped his body in the Atlantic.”

The al-Qaeda leader’s killing is an outrage, in Chomsky’s mind, because Bush’s “crimes vastly exceed bin Laden’s.” Chomsky is outraged not only that the operation was clearly “a planned assassination, multiply violating elementary norms of international law,” but also that its victim had never been legally proven to be the perpetrator of 9/11. Undoubtedly, Chomsky’s Gulag Denial mindset continues unabated, for having shamelessly attempted to deny the Khmer Rouge’s Holocaust in Cambodia was clearly not enough to satiate Chomsky’s totalitarian odyssey.

Following in the leftist guru’s tracks, Glenn Greenwald fumed over at Salon.com that Americans were cheering and feeling patriotic that “someone just got two bullets put in their skull.” This is terrible in leftist eyes because that “someone” is not George W. Bush but rather America’s most wanted enemy-terrorist. Greenwald is also very upset that a question lingers over whether bin Laden really had to be killed and not taken prisoner instead.

Heaven forbid! A targeted assassination of the leader of al-Qaeda, a jihadist terrorist organization that has killed thousands of innocent American citizens. Oh, the unjustness of it all! One wonders whether Greenwald will be able to soldier on.

Meanwhile, Curtis Doebbler, a leftist “human rights” lawyer who teaches at a Palestinian university, grieves that the “West is now celebrating the death of someone who, however misled and wrong-minded, was a person who was willing to fight for the poorest and the most vulnerable people in the world to the very end of his life.” He continues: “That the US had to kill him in violation of international law makes all the more believable Osama Bin Laden’s claims of Western hypocrisy and the need for a better alternative.”

The “alternative” that Doebbler is dreaming of and that Osama had in mind? Well, it’s not that complicated: it’s what Islamists are offering leftists – and that which leftists are salivating over – in their unholy alliance: Sharia law.

Ayaan Hirsi Ali: Will Muslim Brotherhood succeed where Osama bin Laden failed?…or So that’s where the progressives learned it from

Like thousands across the world, I celebrated the capture and killing of Osama bin Laden. He rejoiced in killing. But bin Laden’s murder is not the end of Al Qaeda. And even if Al Qaeda were totally eliminated, the world would still have to deal with Al Qaeda’s progenitor.

Bin Laden was many things, but he was not original. He was himself introduced to the doctrine of jihad by the late Palestinian theologian Abdullah Yusuf Azzam. Significantly, before Azzam begun teaching bin Laden and others in Saudi Arabia, he was a member of the Palestinian Muslim Brotherhood.

Unlike Al Qaeda, the Muslim Brotherhood has evolved and learned the hard way that the use of violence will be met with superior violence by state actors. The clever thing to do, it now turns out, was to be patient and invest in a bottom-up movement rather than a commando structure that risked being wiped out by stronger forces. Besides, the gradualist approach is far more likely to win the prize of state power. All that Khomeini did before he came to power in Iran was to preach the merits of a society based on Islamic law. He did not engage in terrorism. Yet he and his followers took over Iran – a feat far greater than bin Laden ever achieved. In Iran the violence came later.

The point is that fighting violent extremists is only part of the battle; perhaps the easier part. The bigger challenge may be to deal with those Islamists who are willing to play a longer game.

Hillary Clinton Refuses to Rule Out Working With Hamas…or C’mon! Those terrorists are just misunderstood, freedom loving peeps

Although Hamas condemned the United States over the military operation that killed Osama bin Laden, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Thursday refused to rule out the terror group’s inclusion in peace negotiations with the Palestinian Authority.

One day after Fatah and Hamas signed a reconciliation agreement in Cairo, Clinton was asked if this closed the door on Israeli-Palestinian peace negotiations for the foreseeable future. “Many steps” must be taken to implement the Fatah/Hamas accord, she said, and “we are going to be carefully assessing what this actually means” because “there are a number of different potential meanings to it.” Clinton repeated the Obama Administration’s call for Hamas to accept conditions that include recognizing Israel’s right to exist and renouncing violence.

Hamas has continued to attack the United States for killing bin Laden. Its leader, Khaled Meshaal, demanded the West “recognize the atrocity of the American raid and the burial of [bin Laden’s] body at sea.”

Shortly after news of bin Laden’s death was announced on Sunday, Ismail Haniyeh, head of the Hamas regime in Gaza, said: “We condemn any killing of a holy warrior or of a Muslim and Arab person and we ask God to bestow his mercy upon him.”

I’d like to say that this suprises me but, considering the way this administration has treated Israel since Obama took office, it sadly doesn’t.  I wouldn’t be surprised if, in the near future, the propoganda doctors start a slow campaign to villify Israel and make any Muslim attack seem justified.

Pakistanis burn U.S. flags as backlash over Bin Laden’s death grows
These were the angry scenes across Pakistan today as Muslims staged protests against the killing of Al Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden.
Hundreds of people marched through Multan, burning U.S. flags and waving placards as they warned the terrorist’s death could produce many more radical figures to take his place.
It comes after crowds of weeping mourners were pictured offering funeral prayers for the Al Qaeda mastermind widely blamed for thousands of deaths at 9/11.

Onondaga Nation leaders blast ‘Geronimo’ codename for Bin Laden…or Whaaaaaa

Leaders of the Onondaga Nation blasted as “reprehensible” the code name used for Osama bin Laden in the commando assault that killed him: “Geronimo.”

“We’ve ID’d Geronimo,” U.S. forces reported by radio Sunday to the White House. Later, word came that “Geronimo” was dead.

Geronimo was an Apache leader in the 19th century who spent many years fighting the Mexican and U.S. armies until his surrender in 1886.

“Think of the outcry if they had used any other ethnic group’s hero,” the Onondaga Council of Chiefs said in a release Tuesday. “Geronimo bravely and heroically defended his homeland and his people, eventually surrendering and living out the rest of his days peacefully, if in captivity.”

“Geronimo is arguably the most recognized Native American name in the world,” the chiefs said, “and this comparison only serves to perpetuate negative stereotypes about our people.”

White House Concerned About ‘Sensitivity’ Around Releasing Bin Laden Death Photo…or Returning to our wimpy, Muslim appeasing policy

The White House was today split on whether to release the gruesome pictures of Bin Laden’s corpse as conspiracy theorists and the Taliban questioned whether the terror chief was actually dead.

President Barack Obama is reluctant to make public images of the body because it is bloodied and badly wounded, and a perceived lack of respect for the dead could lead to a backlash.[…]

[White House spokesman, Jim Carney said]…’I’ll be candid. There are sensitivities here in terms of the appropriateness of releasing photographs of Osama Bin Laden.’

‘What we don’t want to do is to release anything that might be either misunderstood or that would cause other problems,’ said President Barack Obama’s top counter-terrorism adviser, John Brennan, speaking on National Public Radio.

He said the President was mulling over whether to release the image but that there were concerns about the ‘sensitivity’ of doing so.

CIA interrogators at secret prisons developed first strands that led to bin Laden…or waterboarding is a torturous bitch and NEVER works

Officials say CIA interrogators in secret overseas prisons developed the first strands of information that ultimately led to the killing of Osama bin Laden.

Current and former U.S. officials say that Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the mastermind of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, provided the nom de guerre of one of bin Laden’s most trusted aides. The CIA got similar information from Mohammed’s successor, Abu Faraj al-Libi. Both were subjected to harsh interrogation tactics inside CIA prisons in Poland and Romania.

The news is sure to reignite debate over whether the now-closed interrogation and detention program was successful.

Muslim Brotherhood: U.S. troops should now quit Iraq, Afghan…or Starting the restructuring of the Middle East-MB Style

Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood said on Monday that U.S. soldiers should be withdrawn from Afghanistan and Iraq after the killing of Osama bin Laden, the mastermind of the September 11 attacks that led to two U.S.-led wars.

Al Qaeda leader was killed in a firefight with U.S. forces in Pakistan on Sunday, U.S. President Barack Obama said.

“With Bin Laden’s death, one of the reasons for which violence has been practiced in the world has been removed,” Essam al-Erian, a member of the Muslim Brotherhood’s governing body, told Reuters.

“It is time for Obama to pull out of Afghanistan and Iraq and end the occupation of U.S. and Western forces around the world that have for so long harmed Muslim countries,” he said.

Bin Laden: Climate Change more deadly than War…or Can I have my Nobel Peace Prize now?

Osama bin Laden has expressed concern about global climate change and flooding in Pakistan, in an audiotape aired on the Internet, his first public remarks since March, a monitoring group said Friday.

“The number of victims caused by climate change is very big… bigger than the victims of wars,” said the voice, whose authenticity could not be immediately verified and made available by SITE Intelligence Group.

The tape would be the first time Bin Laden has spoken publicly since March 25.

It was not clear when the tape was made, but bin Laden congratulated Muslims on the September 10 end of the holy fasting month of Ramadan.
