Jesus also said to give the shirt off your back… not vote to make sure the government forces the coat off your back and other’s backs to do whatever they see fit with it. There is a thing called private charity also and it’s much more efficient and voluntary.
Jesus supported slavery, prohibiting equal rights for women, didn’t want people to have the ability to defend themselves, believed in keeping people in shackles and poverty so he could maintain power and wanted to force people to support those who have the ability to work but chose not to?
