The Obama Benghazi Scandal
So, I think a scandal is unfolding and I’m writing this down for posterity to see how much of it turns out to be true. (If we’re ever allowed to know what really happened.)
-The Obama administration provided arms to Libyan “rebels” to oust Muammar Gaddafi. It was never fully understood who exactly “the rebels” were.
-The arms, whether directly or indirectly, ended up in the possession of al-Qaeda in Libya. The Obama administration armed al-Qaeda.
-Those arms were used against our consulate in Benghazi which resulted in the murder of the American ambassador and three other American’s.
-The Obama administration, concerned about the effects of this incident on reelection which was two months away at the time, then engaged in a disinformation campaign. Using as a patsy Nakoula Basseley Nakoula the producer of the controversial anti-Islam film “Innocence of Muslims” on YouTube.

The international community permitted intervention in Libya to protect civilians from Colonel Gaddafi, but Washington wants to go further than that and is considering arming the rebels.
While officially denying that toppling Gaddafi is the objective of its involvement in Libya, President Obama has reportedly signed a secret order authorizing covert American support for rebel forces seeking to oust the Libyan leader.

President Barack Obama has signed a secret order authorizing covert U.S. government support for rebel forces seeking to oust Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, government officials told Reuters on Wednesday.
White House sources confirm that in the run up to the decision to involve U.S. military personnel, President Obama was fully briefed that a large portion of the Libyan rebel forces most active in areas around such critical cities as Benghazi had ties to al Qaeda, particularly Al Qaeda in Iraq, the wing of the terrorist group that killed hundreds of U.S. troops in Iraq.
“He was warned that should we reach a point where NATO needs to re-arm the rebels — it appears that time is coming now — we will be arming the very enemy that we have been fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan,” says a career employee at the State Department. “Secretary Clinton knows it, the White House knows it, but we’re working with these thugs anyway because the President thinks it’s the moral thing to do in the face of Gaddafi.”
April, 2011: Libyan rebel’s story shows links to Taliban, Al Qaeda
He once lived under the Taliban’s protection, met with Osama bin Laden and helped found a group the U.S. has listed as a terrorist organization. He died in a secondhand U.S. military uniform, ambushed by Moammar Kadafi’s men as he cleared a road after an airstrike by his new NATO allies.
Looks like Obama knew exactly who he was arming and that the arms were directly given to members of al Qaeda with the blessing of this administration.
