tired of idiocy…
In any other country in the middle east besides Israel, gays are murdered, tortured, and brutalized…yet Israel is the country that they hate the most !!!I think you are wrong. In every society gays are murdered, tortured, and burtalized. I don’t think how a country treats its gay citizens is important. I think it is imporant that all people are treated fairly and not marginalized for any reason. Gay/straight/palistine/jew/etc. That is why people hate Israel, I believe. It is how they treat others, not the people of their own nation.
Really?
You are aware that In November 2005, a court decision in Israel ruled that a lesbian spouse could officially adopt a child born to her current partner by artificial insemination from an anonymous sperm donor and they’re the only country in the Middle East that recognizes same-sex marriages- with 61% of Israelis supporting marriage for same-sex couples.
Israel is one of the few Middle Eastern countries where homosexuality between consenting adults in private is not illegal and homosexuals are not persecuted under law. In most other Middle Eastern countries homosexuality is illegal, often punishable by corporal punishment, prison, and even the death penalty. Israel was the first country in Asia where homosexuals were protected by anti-discrimination laws and remains the only country in the Middle East to provide such legal protection.
Out Magazine had named Tel Aviv “the gay capital of the Middle East” and Tel Aviv is also considered one of the most gay friendly cities in the world and is famous for its annual Gay Pride Parade and gay beach. The city of Tel Aviv recognizes unmarried couples, including gays and lesbians, as family units and grants them discounts for municipal services. Under the bylaw, unmarried couples qualify for the same discounts on day care and the use of swimming pools, sports facilities, and other city-sponsored activities that married couples enjoy.
Openly gay soldiers serve without hindrance in all branches of the military. Discrimination against gay and lesbian soldiers in recruitment, placement and promotion is prohibited in Israel and the military recognizes same-sex couples, including widows and widowers of the same-sex.
Also, in reference to non-gay citizens, Israel treats its people much better than the people in neighboring countries are.
You want to know who really abuses and mistreats “Palestinians”? Look up how they’re treated by their “Brother” Arab countries. Palestinians are treated like crap, no, lower than crap by the Arab nations there.
And before you go crying about how the Israelis are killing poor Palestinians, well, maybe if the Palestinians were daily throwing rockets at them, and slaughtering entire civilian families in their sleep, the Israelis wouldn’t need to defend themselves.
As usual…you’re throwing stinkers, cold.
