Amid sequester and scandal in Washington, the White House announced Friday that the president and first lady will be hosting another concert as part of their āIn Performance at the White Houseā series later this month.
The event will be held in the East Room of the White House and honor singer and songwriter Carole King, who will be awarded the 2013 Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song. King will be the first woman to receive the award, the White House noted in their announcement.
The program ā to be streamed on the White House website and broadcast on PBS stations the evening of May 28 ā will also feature performances by Gloria Estefan, Billy Joel, Jesse McCartney, Emeli SandĆ©, James Taylor, Trisha Yearwood and King herself.

I really donāt know a whole lot about it except from what Iāve picked up here and there. Personally, from what little I do know, I have no issue with it.Ā It will certainly open up opportunity for jobs, assist in our country taking a step or two towards energy independence and, again from just what Iāve seen (and, admittedly, I havenāt looked into this at all so, again, itās minimal) the whole thing is safer than movies and environmental psychos let on (for example, that whole lakes on fire business is a load of crap).
Sorry I donāt have more, thoughtful stuff for you but fracking isnāt high on my to look into list.
